Before I start this rave review, I must say that that I received this product free from Influenster in exchange for an honest review.
So, let me start off by saying that I’ve never tried anything from this brand. It is pretty pricey and my wallet won’t allow for prestige make-up on a regular basis. Regardless, I’m in love with this mascara. I love the scent. It has a subtle perfume to it instead of that yucky chemical smell most mascaras have. The packaging is very classy and sophisticated. The formula doesn’t cause my lashes to become clumpy or stiff. It is also very easy to remove.
The price tag on this bad boy is too high for me. With this being said, I will enjoy my free product and cherish it like it were my own child. I have been using it daily and I am in love. Maybe, just maybe, I can talk the husband into gifting this to me. 😉
I give it a 9/10!
Thanks to Influenster.com, I received this complimentary in one of their coveted “VoxBoxes” to sample. I was a bit skeptical at first, as my skin is unusually sensitive. When cleaning my face, I used a bar of soap and that is it. Thankfully, my skin does fine without a smorgasbord of products. However, I was excited when it came with a contouring tool, so I had to give it a shot. Ladies, I’m telling you, I did not regret it one bit. It was like a mini-massage for my face. The tool also assists in getting into tough spots around the eyes, without getting product in your eyes. The scent is not overbearing and the cleanser is not thick. It is a lightweight product for your face that will not overwhelm your skin. After washing to product off, my face felt so soft and refreshed. I have been using the product for several weeks now, every other night, and I have not had any issues with breaking out or dryness of the skin. Give this product a shot if you are not especially fond of slathering a bunch of different products on your face. This tool and cleanser does the job of many!

I am a member of NetGalley.com, which is a website in which you can request ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) of books. I recently was granted permission to read “The S-Word” by Chelsea Pitcher. Thanks for the opportunity, NetGalley! The following is my review:
I really wanted to like this book. Here’s a cool premise with interesting characters. What’s not to like. I jumped for joy when NetGalley approved me for this ARC. However, the excitement was short-lived. Here’s the low-down on the plot.
Angie is extremely distraught when she finds out that her best friend has slept with her boyfriend. Lizzie, the best friend, is bullied at school in various ways. Lizzie commits suicide, yet she is still bullied post-mortem. Angie tries to figure out exactly who it is that keeps bullying her former best friend.Sounds interesting, right? Well, the summary was my favorite part of the book because it made the book seem entertaining as hell. I can’t really put my finger on what I didn’t like about the author’s writing style but I can’t. I felt that all the characters were stereotypical and vapid. Angie’s character irritated me enough. Her character made the book go from mildly interesting to incredibly cheesy quickly with the “who-done-it?” aspect. I commend the author on selecting such a relevant topic in today’s youth, bullying. However, I feel that her advantage stops there. It is not a good reflection on today’s youth as the character’s are pale in comparison. Also, I know that this is a pre-edited copy of the book but wow, the grammatical errors were numerous and extremely off-putting.
I am an avid teen fiction reader and just finished a fantastic fantasy/supernatural novel called Crash by Lisa McMann. Lisa McMann is a brilliant author as I am a big fan of her Waker serious, as well as stand-alone titles like Cryer’s Cross and Dead to You. Guys, seriously, she’s fantastic if you like the supernatural genre. I gobble her books up as soon as they come out. Anyways, the book begins with the female protagonist, Jules, who lives with her family above their restaurant. Her family’s Italian restaurant rivals a fellow Italian family, which includes her dream boy, Sawyer. Jules starts to have visions that a crash is happening. She sees the visions on billboards and during movies and television shows. They develop throughout the novel and she finds that Sawyer is one of the people involved in the crash. While Crash progresses, we see the determined Jules fight through the boundaries of the family rivalry to save the guy she loves. The only thing that mildly annoyed me throughout the novel is that Jules would say “Oh my dog” instead of “Oh my god.” I’m not really sure why it perturbed me so but I wanted to reach into the book and slap the girl each time it was said in the novel. Perhaps the author has a biff with religion, who knows? However, I still loved the book. This star-crossed lover tale is brilliant but sadly, ends on a cliffhanger. ” Overall, I give this book a 8/10. It is going to be extremely difficult to wait until October to find out what happens in Jules’ and Sawyer’s journey.
So, I recently tried this fantastic product called Rescue Gum. Rescue gum is comprised of flowers that have remedies that will help the person to become at ease when dealing with difficult situation. As I suffer with severe anxiety, I found that this gum really does work. I was quite skeptical at first but while giving a presentation for one of my classes, I popped a piece before and it helped me to calm down a bit. Is it a complete fix? No, but it does help bring a calming feel to the emotions. It also taste really good, in my opinion. I recommend this gum to anyone who suffers with anxiety or nervous disorders. It has definitely given me a sense of calm in stressful situations.

I’ve been dieting for the past 3 months. I am proud to say that I have lost 22 pounds in the process. I have more energy and more confidence in myself. This is something that I have wanted a long time for myself. I’ve even tried many times before but have failed due to my lack of perseverance and discipline.
So what changed me this time? I saw a picture of myself that made me deeply ashamed. I don’t feel as big as I look but to be hit by reality was very difficult. So I’ve changed my eating habits and I exercise at least 4 times a week. I have a long way to go but I wouldn’t be able to do it without the support of my fiance’, my family, and my friends. It isn’t easy but its worth it!
